Under the tutelage of Dorothy Chang and Jocelyn Morlock, this unique two-week course is designed for young composers at the beginning of their career.
The 2021 workshop will be divided into two parts, one theoretical and the other practical, and will focus on writing for solo instruments or small ensembles. Students will compose works for various instruments assigned upon admission.

- Discussing creation and career development
- Demonstrating contemporary techniques on different instruments
- Individual lessons
- Rehearsals and sessions with the Contemporary Music Workshop
- Online or on campus concert
Participants will also benefit from working closely with Véronqiue Lacroix, conductor and director of the Contemporary Music Workshop. All works created during this course will be performed and recorded.
