Audition material

Important: In order for your application to be considered, you must submit a fully completed application form, pay the application fee and send us by e-mail (admissions@orford.mu) all the following audition material.
1. A musical biography
of about 250 words.
2. A picture
of your face only.
3. A copy of your diploma or transcript
for the last obtained post-secondary diploma.
4. Citizenship proofs:

Master Classes
• A high quality video recording including two works of various styles, which must include a work from the standard virtuosic repertoire*; Singers must submit three contrasting pieces from the repertoire of the French mélodie and the German Lied. One opera or oratorio aria will be accepted.
• Maximum 15 minutes in length;
• Recorded after July 1, 2020.Baroque Keyboards
• A high quality video recording including two works of various styles, which must include a work from the standard virtuosic repertoire*;
• Maximum 15 minutes in length;
• Recorded after July 1, 2020.Collaborative pianists
• A high quality video recording*;
• Solo piano pieces or with a soloist (instrumentalist or singer) will be accepted;
• Maximum 15 minutes in length;
• Recorded after July 1, 2020.Composition
• Audio or video recording of two recent compositions*;
• Scores of the two compositions (in .pdf format);
• A motivational letter (stating your academic progress and your expectations for the workshop).Contemporary Music
• A high quality video recording including two works of various styles, which should include contemporary music works (not mandatory)*;
• Maximum 15 minutes in length.Improvisation
• A high quality video recording including two works of various styles, which should ideally include an improvisation*;
