For your application to be considered, you will need to submit the following:
Your audition video – Consult the list of requirements by program presented further down this page
Your musical biography (approximately 250 words)
Your headshot
A copy of your most recent diploma or transcript
Proof of citizenship – Please review the information below to determine which document(s) you need to submit.
These items should be emailed to Orford at admissions@orford.mu after your complete your registration form.
Audition Video Requirements
Your video must be submitted as one or more public or unlisted links on YouTube or Vimeo, accessible directly without a password.
Instrumental Master Classes
- High-quality video recording including two works of various styles, which must include a work from the standard virtuosic repertoire
- Maximum 15 minutes in length
- Recorded after July 1, 2022
Vocal Master Classes and Collaborative Pianists Workshop
- High-quality video recording of three pieces from the Art Song repertoire, including a German lied, a French melody and a piece of your choice. One opera or oratorio aria will be accepted
Total duration of approximately 15 minutes
Recorded after July 1, 2022
Workshops (excluding the collaborative pianists workshop)
- High-quality video recording including two works of various styles, which must include a work from the standard virtuosic repertoire
- Maximum 15 minutes in length
- Recorded after July 1, 2022
