Pianist Pamela Reimer pursues a diverse performing career as soloist and collaborator, playing both traditional and contemporary repertoire.
She studied with Tom Plaunt, Louis-Philippe Pelletier, Gyorgy Sebok, Lorraine Vaillancourt and Frederic Rzewski.
For the past decade, she has focussed on repertoire which integrates extra-musical elements. This includes solo piano music that incorporates text or movement performed by the pianist, collaboration with dancers, and chamber music with film and video.
She has performed with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Système D dance, Ensemble Contemporain de Montréal, Bradyworks, Ensemble KORE, Erreur de Type 27, Blue Rider Ensemble and the Warhol Ensemble.
