    • Pianiste accompagnatrice Qiao Yi Miao à l'Académie.

Chinese-Canadian pianist Qiao Yi Miao Mu is sought after both as a soloist and as a chamber musician. She was described by the Montreal e-magazine Arts & Opinion as “absolutely impressive” and having “superb playing” for her performances at the Montreal Chamber Music Festival. Her musical sensibility has opened the doors for her to perform at Carnegie Hall (NYC), Koerner Hall (Toronto), Salle Bougie (Montreal) and the National Concert Hall (Dublin). Winner of the first prize at the Glenn Gould School Chamber Music Competition in 2017 and the Kaleidoscope Fellowship in 2014, Ms. Miao Mu has spent the past few years performing over 600 concerts as a representative of Lincoln Center Stage. She has visited over 20 different countries, sharing her passion for chamber music with her audiences. Having spent several summers at Domaine Forget, she has worked in master classes with Benedetto Lupo, Angela Cheng, Louis Lortie and Stephen Kovacevitch, and as a rehearsal pianist for the conducting course with Maestro Yoav Talmi. She has also participated in the Toronto Summer Music Festival, the Scotia Music Festival and the Orford Music Festival. Ms. Miao Mu holds a B.Mus. and an M.Mus. from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal. She was awarded a prize with unanimous distinction for her final recital and chamber music competition. She also received an Artist Diploma from the Glenn Gould School in Toronto. André Laplante, John Perry and David Louie are among her principal mentors. Since the fall of 2022, Ms. Miao Mu has been working as a collaborative pianist at the Conservatoire de musique de Québec.
