2026 Academy
Benoît Fromanger studied flute at the Versailles Regional Conservatory and later at the Paris Conservatoire (CNSM) under distinguished teachers such as Roger Bourdin, Alain Marion, and Jean-Pierre Rampal. He served for ten years as Principal Solo Flutist (Super-Soliste) of the Orchestre National de l’Opéra de Paris before his passion for orchestral music and artistic curiosity led him to Germany, where he was appointed Principal Solo Flutist of both the prestigious Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra (under Lorin Maazel) and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. He was subsequently invited to perform with the Berlin Philharmonic and the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra.

The master classes include the following:
- Master classes, individual lessons or technical courses lasting 2.5 hours per week
- Opportunity to perform in student concerts
- Access to a collaborative pianist
- Networking activities with faculty members and the student community
- Accommodation in double occupancy and three meals per day.
- Practice studios equipped with pianos (available from 7AM to 12AM)
- Housekeeping, laundry facilities, parking, and free Wi-Fi
- Free tickets for concerts at Salle Gilles-Lefebvre (subject to availability)
- Opportunity to discover the beautiful landscapes of Parc national du Mont-Orford, the majestic Lake Memphremagog, and the tourist activities of the city of Magog
- Rehearsal studios equipped with pianos (available from 6AM to 11PM)
