Jennifer Swartz

Harpist Jennifer Swartz is passionate about her instrument and about sharing her love of the harp and of music through teaching. She holds two of the most distinguished positions in her field in Canada: Principal Harp for l’Orchestre symphonique de Montréal (OSM) and Head of the Harp Program at the Schulich School of Music of McGill University.

In addition to her OSM schedule and teaching, Jennifer performs as a soloist and in chamber groups across Canada, including creating and performing with the Four Seasons Harp Quartet. She has made many recordings, predominately with Atma Classique.

During your stay at Orford Music, you will create unforgettable memories while evolving into the artist you aspire to be. Orford Music’s master classes are unique opportunities to work on your goals with the mentors of your choice.

The master classes include the following:

• Master classes, individual lessons or technical courses lasting 2.5 hours per week
• Opportunity to perform in student concerts
• Access to a collaborative pianist
• Networking activities with faculty members and the student community
• Accommodation in double occupancy and three meals per day.
• Practice studios equipped with pianos (available from 7AM to 12AM)

• Free tickets for concerts at Salle Gilles-Lefebvre (subject to availability)
• Opportunity to discover the beautiful landscapes of Parc national du Mont-Orford, the majestic Lake Memphremagog, and the tourist activities of the city of Magog
