      Honing Your Creative Edge: The Bright Future Of Your Career

      What do all the greatest artists of our time have in common? How does their creative process help us better navigate the business of the arts with authenticity? This one-hour lecture is based on Professor Fung’s innovative research on the intersection of the creative process and business principles.

      About Adrian Fung

      Recognized as one of Musical America’s 30 Innovators of the Year, Adrian Fung is an award-winning cellist, educator, and arts executive. He is Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Music at the University of Oklahoma’s Weitzenhoffer Family College of Fine Arts. Along with his administrative duties within the five schools in the College, Mr. Fung works closely with his colleagues in both Fine Arts and Business programming the Arts Management and Entrepreneurship (AME) graduate program and directing the National Arts Incubation Lab. In addition, he is the Executive and Artistic Director of Music In The Morning and Summer Music Vancouver.

      Mr. Fung also served as Vice President for Innovation at the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, where he led the TSO’s activities in artistic, social, and economic innovation. Mr. Fung earned the Artist Diploma from The Juilliard School and an MBA from the University of Toronto, where FORTUNE magazine named him among an international list of the Best and Brightest Executive MBAs.
