Concert
This ensemble offers a journey at the crossroads of romantic, impressionist, jazz, and improvisational music. Music inspired by composers such as Ravel, Brahms, or Boulanger will transport you to a world where music, freed from aesthetic barriers, remains the primary creative path of emotions.
The repertoire will include the following pieces: “Mademoiselle Lili,” “Pharaon,” “Valse à 4 temps,” “Africa Brahms,” “Danse magyare,” “Contrepoint pour Johannes,” and more!
A European and Canadian creation signed by Les Productions Yari.

Yannick Rieu
Recognized as one of the most talented jazz saxophonists in the world, Yannick Rieu is the recipient of the 18th Oscar Peterson Award, acknowledging his outstanding musicianship and exceptional contribution to the development of Canadian jazz. His music is best defined by its constant evolution.He has received unanimous praise from jazz critics around the world: “Most likely one of the world’s 20 best jazz saxophone players.” – Journal de Montréal (Canada) – “Canada’s greatest jazz poet.” – Jazzman (France) – In 1988, Downbeat magazine Critic Poll ranked him alongside Brandford Marsalis and Joe Lovano as one of the 20 most promising saxophonists on the world scene. Jazz writers have compared him to Stan Getz or Lee Konitz (L’Express, Toronto).
Lionel Belmondo
French saxophonist and composer Lionel Belmondo, born in Hyères on November 4, 1963, leaves his mark on the jazz scene with his talent and creativity.In 2004, he won the Victoires du jazz in three categories: French Artist or Instrumental Group of the Year, Instrumental Jazz Album of the Year for “Hymne au soleil” and Audience Prize for the same album. Two years later, in 2006, he repeated the feat, again winning Instrumental Jazz Album of the Year for “Influence”. In 2021, his work was honored once again with the Prix du disque français for “Brotherwood”, recorded with the Belmondo Quintet. These awards underline the impact and quality of his work, making him an emblematic figure of european contemporary jazz.
