The Jazzlab Orchestra celebrates its 20th anniversary embodying local jazz! Telling a multitude of exciting musical stories in its own way, it will present pieces developed during its artistic residency at Orford Musique in the fall of 2023.
Comprising multi-instrumentalists Annie Dominique, Claire Devlin, and Mario Allard; trumpeter Jacques Kuba Seguin; trombonist Thomas Morelli-Bernard; pianist Félix Stussi; Alain Bédard on double bass; and drummer Michel Lambert, the Jazzlab promises surprises of all kinds. This group of experienced and creative artists will once again push the boundaries of orchestral jazz.

The Jazzlab Orchestra, based in Montreal, defines itself as a specific group, a true institution in the world of Canadian jazz since 2004. The group explores musical writing in many styles, each time supported by stunning composers and musicians. Always keen on originality, always attached to gravitating a core of astonishing artists, it elaborates with inspiration and audacity each project since its creation. Practically the only group of its kind in Canada, he has released 8 albums and given more than 400 concerts since his creation, performing on the best stages of major jazz festivals and several prestigious venues in North America and Europe.
